Here in the manger
a new One He lays
His arrival illuminates,
where whatsoever forestay’s

The Shepard’s were cited
the sheep came along
on this celestial night
When His Child was born

Three Kings in emblem,
secern of the heath
with herb gifted delight
Purifying His feet

A Blessed young virgin
with her man by her side
Fulfilling a sacrifice,
yet, in becoming God’s bride

Directions in faith
all who attended
Witnessing the birthe
of a Lamb who ascended

The animals revered,
lie quiet in night
Yet another beast founts
this innocent Child

A Chosen Descendant
to rid of, all gods of beguile
What better way
than to give us His Child

Knowing ahead
Our Omniscient’s method
His purpose this birth
His will giving merit

Then there in the stall
An Angel in the feed bucket, appeared
With arms outstretched
"Do not be afraid!"

Beholding good news
that Our Savior is born
with a multitude of hosts, singing,
"this is yours,
Christ the Lord!"
