Never thought I was a hip hop artist...

I want to try to rhyme
And sing each thought
Like poetry
The beat inside my head
It beats in time
With nothing real

Thump thump chugga
Thump thump chugga

Was that my heart
Or harmony?

Okay I'm working hard
I'm trying way too hard to fail
So maybe I should leave
This hip hop stuff
To another pal

lol...well done, Lynn. Hiphop/rap, in its early days was very entertaining. Unfortunately, it de-evolved into violence and profainity.
One of the best representations of "rhythm and poetry" can be heard in The Music Man, done by Preston.
