I went to buy
A jacket for me
I always wear whatever
My thirteen year old
Said, "Try this one, Mom"
And on it went...

I bought the thing
Hoped it wasn't
Just a fling
And I would soon regret
That I'd bought pink
And did not think
Hang it in the closet
And avoid it forever
But I am happy to report
I wear it proudly each day
I am the lady in pink
In fact it's beginning to stink
