I used to ride a bike all day
A whole nine miles I would pedal
Once at the beach
I'd swim my cares away
Then nine miles back
Give me a medal
Hubby reminds me that that was then
And this is now, take it slow
The legs were young and flexible
These days they don't wanna go
The first time I went up a hill
I had to walk the bike
I thought I was having a heart attack
Even so, I kept up with the hike
I finally got back on the thing
And really took it easy
I may be older, that's a fact
But it didn't make me queasy

Hey. Great stuff. I just came back from cycling around the mountain here (okay this is not a huge mountain but it is twelve kilometers - whatever that is in miles) and it is a long way to come back up here. And no, it's not getting any easier. Thus. I relate to what you write here and I thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you. Regis
