A change is needed...

Poem Artwork

I set out to
Get a haircut
A haircut
I needed to get
I was tired of
Cutting it myself
I needed to
Give my scissors a rest
I got the cut
And was happy
Or so I certainly thought
But I stopped at
A drugstore
And guess what I bought
A box of blonde
Hair coloring
And when I got home
I mixed it up
Then poured it on my new do
A half hour later
I rinsed it and cried, "WHAT?"
I wanted a change
And I got one
I like it, yes I do
This morning
I felt so drab
Now I am Ms. Blondie
Woo-Woo!

Lynn, this poem is delightful! Sometimes, we feel that we need a change. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Glad your's turned out great!

Must be true that blondes have more fun. Great poem and nice photo. YOur hair looks great. Why is it what women are so obsessed with their hair? My best, Gloria
