I stuck in a load
Of dark clothes to wash
It spun around and suds up
But at what cost
They came out
Covered with white fuzzy crap
I could not believe it
But maybe the lint trap
Would suck all the lint balls
Off my son's clothes
And yet, I wondered
Where it all goes
And where it comes from
I was on to the task
Of investigating lint balls
Had the universe to bask
In all that is static
And all that is clean
It won't matter that it smells nice
I hope it fills up the lint screen
Then what to my wondering eyes did I see
A spiral wire and soggy cardboard, gol-ly gee
His assignment notebook
Must have been in his pants
He is trying to do well
So his grades will dance
If I can get him to check
For notebooks and gum
His clothes will not suffer
When the spin cycle doth come
"Lint Balls"
Oh my goodness, what to do now?
Hee, hee, I enjoyed this write and reading it also.
Although feel sorry about that book and those grades.
Guess someone will have to call the school only way they will believe.
Good luck, and thank you for sharing,

A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes.
Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over.
Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
know this too too well
notebook paper, balled up tissue
I can go on forever
nice work here!!
