Laughs in the hospital...

Poem Artwork

He told hubby
He would put him under
And then do the procedure
And if he woke up
We'd go from there
He was walking away
So he didn't clarify
The if he woke up
Part of the affair
We laughed at it then
To lighten the mood
And later asked the
Doctor about it
His face went pale
He didn't know
That's what he'd said
He apologized as if
He'd beached a whale

Lynn,

Oops. That's why they call it medical PRACTICE, they haven't perfected it yet. :) Enjoyed.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Dang fooled Docs. Think they're God. Think they're smarter. Not always (especially in this case).

Hm, wow, I should be concerned enough to ask my doctor something like that, being I just got out of the hospital from having surgery.

Not what you want to hear from a doctor before a procedure.

Dear Lynn,

I had a similar experience once with a doctor. After the procedure, the topic was brought up, and his face flushed. "I was hoping you didn't hear that," was how he responded. Oops. I hope that your husband is all right.

Blessings and smiles,
Sharon

Me thinks the good Dr. should work on his bedside manner. Do you suppose he forgot and left something inside dear hubby? lol
