I thought it would be cool to watch the apples rot...
Night after night
I watched the apples rot
No one was eating them
Eating them we were not
I wanted to just leave them
And see what developed
The family got turned off
And a discussion enveloped
The bowl got pitched out
And my fun was all gone
Now I've learned this is bio-art
It's a new day, a new dawn
Rotting fruit is natural beauty
So too are leaves on the lawn
I use that excuse to not rake
Raking makes me want to yawn
So forget about compost piles
Rent a space at an art museum
The decaying things you want to trash
Are treasures to bio-art ad nau-se-am
I really love and enjoy words written from the heart-mind-body and soul. it captivates and catches the readers attention and I admire you for that. Keep writing and never stop because writing is such a great form of all releases
One can very easily to find arts of the nature. My sister used to go to the beach to gather pieces of large rocks that looked like something, or some forms of something. She brought them home, washed them out, and placed them on top of "a piece of wood" cut up from the Lansing for display in the centre of the table top.
Surprise!!!!! Everyone who walked into her house commented on "that piece of art"! Heeeheee!!!!!
Another relative of our went out to chop woods found a whole tree branch in the form of an arch, he brought it home and planted that atop of the shade of the garden bench in his garden. When the tree bloomed in the summer, it even had flowers to brighten up that love seat in the garden.
Art is an object that can be observed and appreciated by an artistically-inclined person. There are so many things in this world that are beautiful, but some people never had noticed the beautifies surrounding them.
