Squash the bugs that bug you and I mean the human kind...

Poem Artwork

In life we have some nasties
That bug us until we snap
The pests I am referring to
Are parasites and rats
They want to either suck
The life out of us, or worse
They want to feast on us
Crunch our bones for dessert
But I have other ideas
And they involve the heel of my shoe
I plan to squash them into the ground
What else is a person to do
Let them bite and gnaw at us
Our self esteem totally spent
No thanks I want my life intact
So all you bugs get bent

This is a self-empowering message, Lynn; and it is good advice. One of my students put it this way referring to people: "Don't let the negatives get you down." Thank you for sharing. Love and peace,

Regis
