A crash and then a wake up call
A car was in the ditch
It did fall
"Get the licence plate,"
Someone yelled, I did hear
"Is any one hurt?"
I asked my hubby dear.
"It looks like they're okay,"
He answered he did
And many came to help
So back to bed,
Under covers we hid
We tried to get to sleep again
But noises heard could wake the dead
So there we lay
The clock dragged on
Until the last of
The people were gone
But wound up we were
And sleep was light
It wasn't like Tiny Tim's
"And to all a good night!"
Wow..I liked this, yes it is very disturbing to see something like that, makes you glad your loved ones are home and safe, thank you for sharing this with us,

Lynn, when misfortune strikes someone else it effects the world of many of us. We feel empathy knowing that something has happened to someone. I know I too cannot sleep under these circumstances. Bill
