I fell asleep
Upon the couch
And when I awoke
My leg cramped
A scream would
Most effectively say
What my nerve centers felt
But I didn't give way
Cause my leg was cramped
And I was in a cold sweat
If a doctor couldn't help
I'd see the nearest vet
But I couldn't move
From that spot
I really didn't
Feel so hot
When my leg cramped
And I felt that pain
I wanted to take a gun
What a shame
And blow that sucker
Off my body
Extreme, I know
But pain makes me oddy
Then it loosened
And I began to relax
The cramp went away
I was free at last

Lynn,
I'm stuck on your poetry page again! I know this feeling, for sure! Next time my leg is doing "the ugly", I will think about this poem to help ease the pain!
I stepped in a deep hole and almost broke my ankle last Sunday. Couldn't hardly walk the first day, but I worked on my job with the pain anyway all week. I've had the leg cramps myself, no fun. Take care cuzz you don't need to hurt.
A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes.
Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over.
Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
