And not a ravenous slave" ----LOL THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO ME! HA HA! I LOVED IT! I had to click on the poem and see what it said ... I am sure Elizabeth Browning would have busted a gut....BUT--it is beautiful...you just have that style. I can laugh and cry in one poem...I adore that out of an author.
