Like a trip to the beach...I'm sifting sand

I had my kidney stone pulverized
They said it got done well
And now I wait for sand to come
Out of my hem and haw, can't tell
Cause if I do this poem will
Become too gross for some
And others might not
A-ppre-ci-ate
My graphic ren-di-she-un
Of sifting sand that passes out
Of my bo-di-ly functions
But this I must do for two weeks
So Doc can examine-un-em
To see what caused that now
Blasted stone
And I can avoid what did
So checking out my voidances
Is what I'm into, Sid...

-Sid who???

Oh, Sandy! You have me ROFHSLOL! Very well said and... done. It reminds me of a short poem I wrote to the hospital staff while I recovered from surgery. And, of course, you can go home until you have a "BM." So, I wrote the final line of "Ode to The Commode": "So, here I sit... and still can't sh.."~~ Well, you know what they expect you to do.
