I've heard of being "beside" myself
But what I'd like to do
Is physically get "inside" myself
And see what's happening, too
The food comes in and down it goes
But what the heck does it do?
To wind up out the end of me
And in the shape of poo poo
It sounds a little disgusting
And I don't mean to turn your tummy
I feel as if I'm two years old
Thinking about this stuff,

Made me ponder about my gut
So I imagined getting "inside" myself
And not "beside," you see
If we could get "inside" ourselves
We might wish we were a tree
