My 12 year old kid has parents who are AARP members...
"Hey son, your parents are AARP"
I laughed... as I told him
His twelve year old ears listened up
And a smile came over his brim
"Any other kids have parents in it?"
"I don't know" he replied.
Perhaps we are the only ones
Perhaps the only ones who'll be in
Walkers and wheelchairs
When he gra-du-ates
From school in seven years
Graying hair and false teeth, too
His grandparents...the others
Will think we is...

No, your not the only one. My 14 year old boy, and 11 year old girl think nothing of it. Another thing, all the young parents follow our leed, go figure. They say me, and de wife have excellent judgement about almost anything. Go figure again? All Americans Re-Produce?

Hahahaha actually AARP takes anyone over 50 I think...I am pretty sure..I have been getting their magazine...nice poem..just keep thinking young and get some hairdye...LOL...floria
