I write from the belly of a whale

deep undersea

in plankton filled waters

and the whale disintegrates

and I am inside its mighty ribs writing.

Pen in hand I slowly ascend

surrounded by a million shapes fed

by what was once a whale: sea urchins,

squid and starfish spiral nautilus and parrot fish

plumeria and kelp forests.

Sun in my hands I surface at last

and wind my body in kelp

among whiskered sea otters.

Now I write in that liquid green place

and sway in each ocean current.

I believe that alot of us have written rom the mouth of a whale. Life is just how you have written it but it is just a test. When we arite yes it is a form of release that God has blessed us with. We touch many lives with what we write as long as it is positive. We have alot of hurting people out there and we as writers must encourage them to not be afraid of the belly from the whale for God is our rescuer and our fortress and a mighty present help in trouble.
