Three Ed's, Red and Edith.......

         Now dear boys just rest your sails,
  while ye bickered we moored in the lagoon.
        In defense of Captain La Belle Rouge,
  we are ready to strike on the next full moon.

  The Revenge is next to The Lady Marmalade,
           filled with treasures, ammunition, 
                              ready to go.
                  Me mate Captain Rockham, 
                          bearded and tall,
        goes by Calico Ed and he has a temper 
                                you know.

         From the shores of the Carolina's we
                              headed south,
      to find this very island to bury our gold.
            I heard Black Beard met up with 
                           Captain La Belle,
      wanting to bury his treasures too and
                             jewels of old.

        For Pee Wee's Ark, Jersey Devil and
                              Enchantress,
  land is spoken for; no more room in the end.
 This island was claimed by Captain La Belle,
     we answered the call to fight and defend.

Quit your squabbling, lift anchor and set sail,
          a brisk wind is blowing; turn your  
                            ships around.
           I too swing a sword, my name is
                             Edith Bonny,
     most call me Ed when I walk on ground.  

 Now what say ye, are you all ready to fight, 
        for this island paradise you thought
                               was yours?
   Sea is getting wild, it might become rough,
               of course we could make a deal,
                            you give tours?

    Clean up your act, take a bath and shave,
     we might consider sharing a small space.
       A little building is in order, need those
                                 comforts,
   still want to fight, we will leave no trace.
