Happy, hallow and ween.....

     Can you see it, can you feel it?
   The magic is in the air.
    Time for spirits to come alive,
   reeking havoc everywhere.

Scary night creatures, waiting to pounce,
hiding in corners, around every bend.
If you are not careful and run into one,
homeward bound he will send.

My little friends are on display,
look close, see what lies in between.
Red haired witch, mummy and grim reaper,
in front Happy, Hallow and Ween.

Stoking fires for witches brew,
all conjuring spells to cast.
With eye of newt so resolute,
not the first, not the last.

Night air is cool, clean and crisp,
leaves crackle beneath my feet.
Wind is howling, trees swaying,
an eerie dance where souls meet.

Be on the alert when sun disappears,
no going out when it is night.
For when you see the goblins and ghosts,
you know you are in for a terrible fright.

Put on your costume, be ready to walk,
ringing doorbells, trick or treat.
Watching over your shoulder in the dark,
ghosts and goblins not fun to meet.
