For Those That Are "First There."

Poem Artwork

 Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum!

A lean mean killing machine, born

from the fires of hell. Ready

made to take the fight to the enemy.

Desire not to be seen, but to

kill the commies quick and clean.

I am a man of death. My mind

is a computer. My fists are made

of steel. My radio calls in the

planes. If one don't get you

another one will.

Caught in the heat of kill or be

killed, "Greater love hath no man

than to lay down his life for

a friend".

An interesting juxtaposition to my poem that I wrote not knowing about yours. The bravado shown may be a substitute for fear. I don't see any redeeming value or bravery involved in calling in airstrikes, even if they are close in.

Is so much fun playing war like a video game at arms length. Just "nuke 'em," and sit back in your armchair and swill beer.

Yep. A "killing machine" has to be borne and utilized, no question about it.
