The secret love I shall only know

The secret I know
One that was never told
That of the desert rose.


Hidden in my dreams
Living in the arid heat
A beauty of that I do not speak.


Luscious to my eyes,
Heavenly to touch,
Succulently sweet scent
That I love so much.


Uncloakable smile
Bringing out thy inner child,
Memories I share
With those who care.

It seems a contradiction when you are stating that you will never divulge your love and then in the poem that you will share with "those who care."
