A 1946 model,

pop a few pills

under the hood

to keep it fine-tuned,

some E, some C,

daily CoQ10,

a balanced senior formula

plus good fuel,

and regular use,

don’t rev it up

much anymore,

already did

too much of that,

still tight in the chassis,

differential grinds at times,

exhaust a little leaky,

but they all get that way,

kind of grumps and groans,

at start-up time,

purrs along

when treated well,

just got to know

how to handle it,

warranty's running out

in just eight years,

the big three-score and ten,

and God doesn't

take trade-ins,

chug, chug.
