Katrina Storm Photo

Thanks Sherry Heim!

~*~

I awoke to a blood red sunrise in a surreal
poetic paradise~where words are used to
mesmerize~as I read them through bloodshot
eyes~in the beautiful garden a spectre appeared
a blue neon ghost, floating in the air, slapped
my face as he came near, then disappeared

I was standing in front of a mirror, the kind
where your image is distorted~my face and hair
were blood red,the rest of me looked like a blue
horse, I wanted to scream but snorted~then I was
galloping towards an ocean so close I could feel
the spray, but the harder I ran it kept getting farther
away~overheated, lungs ready to burst, I couldn't
stop running til I was caught up in a whirlwind
with everything spinning

I was dropped into a mountain crater left by a
volcano~no longer a horse but a word called
"human dynamo"~I was in rhyme as once more
the mountain began to blow~I wound up in the
lava flow~energized in spirit and ready to go
I awoke to  a blood red sunrise in a surreal poetic
paradise~where words are used to mesmerize

Just another Katrina sunrise in Rita's eyes

Dream interpretation: Your spiritual sensibilities(blue neon ghost/subconcious is trying to get your attention)and passion appear to be in conflict. Your red(face is distorted/outmoded self-image?) and blue horse is galloping hard towards the ocean(serenity, mutability, cleansing)but the harder he trys the further he gets. Caught up in a whirlwind(emotion)you are dropped into a crater becoming a "human dynamo" and flow...Once you integrate passion/spirit/emotion by releasing outworn attitudes that no longer suit the person you've become, you will flow on the current with all living.(Please let me know if I'm all wet, E.)
