Love this-has the quality of native american tales. I'm a fan of thunder and lightning. We have had our share of storms this season.

Gotta stand outside and watch Nature at her most violent...especially on the beach when the lightening hits the water it lights up and sends chills up ones spine...love a good storm...Ed

Call me nuts, but I absolutely love a good thunder and lightning storm, Eileen. I had a big window in my bedroom in my house in Ohio. I wold spend hours in that room watching the amazing lightning and feeling the rumble of the thunder rattle every molecule of my being. I suppose there is the flip-side which is destruction, but to me it is truly beautiful...like a tiger, gorgeous beast, but deadly if he decdes to strike you. Nice Ku chain, Eileen.

Yes! You are correct...Mother Nature has bad children and her own bad days. We've provoked her to the limit and are destroying her ozone...the rain forest and her oceans are trashed with oil and debris of toxic waste. I'm a mother and if this happened to my family I'd be pissed too.

Your poem is quiet wisdom.

The Bonnie and Clyde of all weather forces cannot be destroyed, you are right and, in a way, it is a good thing that we can not temper wiht it. A beautiful chain, we just hope that the storms will calm down very soon.
