The rains came to refresh the land they replenished all that was thirsty washed natures face gave greenery grace the rains came singing their song pittering pattering all day long when they left I heard the birds cheefully chattering once again on the wing I thanked Creator for everything
Oh! That's me jumping in the puddle and, believe me...I still do it. Thank you for reminding me of the fun it is. I smiled a lot reading this.

This is such a soothing piece, Eileen, a very nice way to bring me down from my busy day. It rained here for a couple of days..of course, it is Balloon Fiesta!..we were the only place in the USA that had rain...go figure!! I did enjoy hearing the rain through the night pattering on the roof, but for some reason, it makes it difficult for me to get up in the morning, I just want to stay all cozy in bed. We are out of the rain now so the balloons will be flying every day for the rest of the week so I am looking forward to seeing the entire morning sky littered in multi-colored hot-air balloons.

You must have know we were going to get rain this morning aroun five o'clock. We did, at any rate. Cute poem, but with a hell of a lot of meaning. Not back all the way yet, just commenting here and there.

A beautiful poem indeed, I too think that we should thank God more often for the things that we too often take for granted. I went on a ride with my husband the other night through a beatiful mountain trail, the sunset was georgious, the moon rising over the Kentucky mountains was stunning, the squirrels gathering nuts was unbelievable, the leaves changing were breathtaking, your poem was more than just a beautiful write, it serves to as a wonderful reminder of what a superb creator we actually serve and what a glorious abundance of nature he has provided us with....I'm rambling, but this subject is dear to my heart...God bless.
