Traces of Autumn fill the air
As the days grow shorter
Summer will disappear


Thoughts of creation come to mind
Of how He made it all work
With each season a different kind


A glorious display of colorful leaves
Will soon grace all the trees
Filling our eyes with delight


I'm daunted by the awesome power
That gives us such diversity
We take for granted so easily


It's hard to fathom such a force
Who can make seasons so diverse
I'm humbled by such mystery


Omnipotent,Omniscient,Omnipresent
Words reserved for a trinity of one
Creation,by Father, Spirit, and Son


All the incredible colors in the universe
In play as summer watches fall rehearse
Then leaves us  with its farewell verse

I love all seasons but I love autum alittle more that winter and summer because of the change of the trees and senery. GReat job describing the way of autum.

Living in the desert valley, we miss a lot of what autumn is around the country where there is a proliferation of trees that change color. Isn't it amazing how each autumn, the Creators palate gets more beautiful in spite of what is done to destroy it.

There is a serenity, a beauty in the waning of summer's heat. Even though the leaves are dying, they die so beautifully. That's not what I mean, but you understand, don't you?? LOL This is a gorgeous write; excellently penned; God's glories evident in every word. Well done.

This is a peacefilled poem.
Autumn is my favorite season - beauty abounds, the winds are calm, no hurricanes or tornados, no torrential rains - just the quiet before the cold winter. Your writing is what I feel in my heart and soul - God's trinity and divinity.

Eileen, when you sit down and actually try to fathom such a power, it is humanly impossible, that is why, I believe, the whole idea of God is based on faith. Without faith there is NOTHING, with faith there is EVERYTHING, such as peace within your heart and beautiful, but diofferent seasons . . . Gotta love it . . .
