written about a friend who called for prayers after a tornado.
~^~
she walked away in a stupor
no more tears left to shed
stopping to look back, one
last time, at the rubble
that had been her home
as she continued on, her mind
a muddled mishmash of thoughts
her body convulsed in anguish
as she begged for help, she cursed
the fiendish forces of nature that
had rendered her homeless
such devastation for so many
innocent people going about life
doing the best they could, the
why word never leaves the mind
when tornadoes,and similar storms
rise up out of nowhere to destroy
one part of her brain thanking God
her family and pets were still alive
the other half, cursing part of God's
creation,feeling too angry to stop
she wondered why the world had
to be a f***ing Jekyll and Hyde

Give me a hussicane. At lease we have a 24 hour warning to get out...if we can.

The bad tornado traveled 123 miles
up north from me. Killed 13.
They can be deadly.
Loves ya Eileen....
Be always safe,
Karen
Sometime I wonder if America was meant to be inhabited..It is so wild... Yet here in England we have the most Tornadoes in the world, yet most die off PDQ...
Cleverly put...
High winds and spinning fate...Powerful message, Eileen!
And by the way, I find the F - word most appropriate here! (Sorry Paul)
God's creations are all wonders and sometimes we wonder what he was thinking.... but we take it, toughen up, and carry on!
Well done, Eileen, well done!
Love (and prayers for your friend)

I've been through five of these things, thank God not strong - lost my roof in the third, but hey - what's a roof verses my life? I will pray for your friend. Powerfully penned sadness -
