Poem Artwork

In the mountains softly falling
Snow had come gently calling
Like storybook patterns crystaline
The sparkling diamonds steal the scene

Sitting by the fireplace in  fires glow
Watching it unfold out my window
All warm and snuggly in my favorite chair
Sipping a hot toddy feeling full of cheer

A silent night, perhaps a holy night
I lift my thoughts to the maker of lights
Thanks for the beauty I'm privileged to see
I watch snow cover, natures Christmas trees

Reminds me of those days when youth beckoned me to the majestic snow at Dodge Ridge and Heavenly Valley, nights in log chalets topped with snow and warm fire's glow.

Eileen,

You find any snow you don't want or need, send it down Texas way - we got gypped. Flurries don't count. :/ LOL! This is absolutely gorgeous: could feel the crispness of the Season in these beautiful lines - and that image! Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. =]
