Don't move...relax...enjoy the breeze and smell that "farm" smell from the barn.....

I’m stayin’ right where I am


Don’t plan goin’ no  place ‘cept


Here, sittin’ on this milkin’ can.


Nothin’ movin’ right now..slept


Like a lamb yist’rday.


Paw’s been callin’ my name


But I’m doin’ the low lay


And keepin’ outa sight jest the same


‘cause I don’t wanna do what he say.


So, I stay put right here


Mindin’ my bizness the rest ‘o’ the day.

loved it, you've captured it well my friend. Believe it or not, I've got a milk can just like the one in the picture on my front porch, only a pot of flowers occupy it instead of me...but I have sat on a few in my day. Enjoyed this very much!

Lol! Reminded me of Mississippi. The pastures, old cars, really old cars way back there. Us kids playing in and around the high hay, horses and memeories. Nice George.

Too hot for laborious work
just sit around doing nothing
with a fresh blade of straw between the teeth
thinking about doing nothing tomorrow agin.......LOL
