I can almost figure out
The things you try to say
Then you take a turn and head off
In quite a different way
You circle 'round the barnyard
With metaphoric inuendo
And I never know which door to watch
Til you slip in thru the window
I've learned just to accept it
And take it as it seems
Then go quiet to my room
Where no one hears my screams
To say that I'm frustrated
Is maybe a bit too 'cush'
I wish you'd just come out and say it
Without beating around the bush
So, you look at me quite funny
With a deep breath before you start
And say, "I'm sorry, Nana..
"I think I have to ......."
*my grandaughter is almost 7....(going on 27, i think, sometimes) they are honest and right out there, but she has the habit of taking the long way 'round. now i will be more careful to ask for her to elaborate!lol......loads of love..k

Hi Krissy
That wonderfull time of being a granny, I lived with mine during the war, wonderful time
enjoyed every moment of it.
Sounds like you are reaping the benifits too.
Love Tomas.

A naïve councilman and a down-on-her-luck single mom try to save their county’s last stand of forest from greedy developers and a dysfunctional government.
