of hot mulled cider, roaring fires
and blankets shared on sleigh rides
pristine your display at midnight
spoiled all too soon by footprints
like hearts having loved and lost
images of dreamless sleep conjured
on the gentle swell of your breasts

This is perfection to me...I am one of those rare people who live in the North and love snow. I am like a small child when I see the first few flakes fall each winter. I also agree that there is somthing sensually attractive to snow...remember taking off mittens and gloves to go walking so you can feel the warmth of each others palms. Great write *****
