How has it been a year
So silent were those fallen tears
Archimedes sound the gong
And watch the vipers of this banquet song

Sultans breed the serpent sires
Cast among the haven of the squires

So few have known, so plenty
And there are those of noble gentry
Chalice bead of finest wine
That basks among thy humble vine

Speckled footprint, feeble sands
Alas one passage marked to leave the land
Prism, be thy prison bells
Cast among this lonely swell

Weathered tears, of wayward hearts
Among the sounds of heavens harps
Sombre tears, in which I shed
A lonely whisper in my head
