What's in there has to come out... I have stuffed down anger over many years and now I know I'm as improperly volatile as spilled petroleum... and don't we always hurt those closest to us? Having lived an "only child"-type of existance, "sorry" was a word I struggled to use and can never remember having heard it said to me either. I have only relatively recently come to know of it's power to mend, heal, restore and strengthen - such that relationships can be even stronger than before! It's a "miracle" word! Now I can't seem to use it enough.. too much, probably, in an overly self-apologetic kind of way. Balance is a struggle, isn't it?! But this is a "laid bare" write that has got us all gathering in for a group hug, Karla!!
