lightning divides the dun colored clouds in two as the tears gather like rain falling in sympathy to my pain. and here, here i sit, as usual ... alone ... in the bathroom with razor in hand, ready to release the storm that is pulsing underneath my blood ... and the wind complains bitterly; it whispers dark and deadly secrets in my ear; seduces me with silky tones; it points the way to happiness. I am too slow ... and the wind tells me to go f*** myself. I hang my head in shame. I want the wind to come back and tell me to hurry - hurry and get this damn thing done and over with, but there is no answer from the clouds. thunder voices its pain and somehow i know what it is talking about - we are brothers, thunder and i, as we rail against the indecisions we face.
Am so glad you aren't like this; but still...you write of the frustrations that many people face. Excellent emotion, hardhitting, no holds barred anger enimates from this poem! Very well done; brava!!
