The cool jazz of mourning stirs my coffee and moves my feet to a second line beat - I'm tired of feeling like this. I wanna go back to the city I loved/worked in/ and O yes, played - I gave that city everything I had in me, let it take what it wanted from me and I'd gladly do it again - O to be home where I belong, to be among my people where I was free to be me, free to be, free - I sit here, singing the blues in my head and dream once more of my beloved New Orleans.
