Sunset, frightening, as I watch pallid fingers losing their grip on the desperate edge of day, thus beginning the quickening slide into my fear of the darkness and extended night, ahead.

...and the walls breathe in/ out [[closing]] like--jaws (read: Venus flytrap eating a bug)!! heart L E A P S over lungs, an attempt to es c a p e. >>>claustrophobia<<< has me where it wants me, strappedtothebed.
Karla, I posted a big old long comment to these poems,pressed enter and it disappeared. What are you doing my dear. Anyway, it's always fun to read your fine poems.

You know horror :-) It is not the gore, it is the suggestion.......and you have done this very well within these two write. The first one is my favorite......it makes me think of how one might feel as the night comes in when vampire's are lurking :-) It's a shame I'll probably have to kill you again hehehehe
