karen lynn has challenged us once again,
by asking, 'what inspires you to write?'
God gave me a Gift that september day,
a Gift i thank Him for both day and night,
before, i would hold ev'rything inside,
wouldn't let anyone know how i felt,
it would build and build, higher and higher,
the place where anger and bitterness dwelt,
pushed to the limit, i would then explode,
believe me, you didn't want to be near!
tears on my face, i threw words IN your face,
i didn't care who i hurt...then last year,
God gave this Gift to me...i don't know why,
but it's blessed me...and others see the change,
whatever i feel, i write, get it out,
instead of acting all weird and deranged!
to those who saw my wrath, i'm so sorry,
that i didn't care one bit how you feel,
i know i said some words i do regret,
i pray you'll forgive me, and that you'll heal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
i write, because i breathe.
because i breathe, i live.
i live, because of God.
because of God, i write.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
i think this pretty much sums it up...
(((HUGS))) and love,
karla. :)
