"Daddy, why does it hurt when someone dies?"
A little boy asked, big tears in his eyes,
He had just watched the news on his t.v.,
Seven more heroes met their destiny,
"Here's the answer to that question, my son,
That is a hard question for anyone,
God needed some new angels, i do suppose,"
And in Daddy's arms the boy was enclosed,
"What's wrong with the ones He's got?" the boy asked,
Setting up Father...a difficult task,
Daddy said, "Nothing's wrong, there's much more need,
God likes to answer prayer with utmost speed,
"Somewhere in the world there are cries of pain,
And a war builds against Saddam Hussein,
We live in fear of more terror attacks,
The poor fight the rich, the white fight the black,
"The world cries out, it's desperate for help,
'We're overwhelmed!' 'Help us, Lord!' angels yelp,
'We are plumb worn out, working overtime,
We can't cover now what we've been assigned!'
"So, God goes out, He's searching for the best,
Only the bravest who have passed life's test,
He calls them on home, and they earn their wings,
Learn their special gifts given by the King."
