Don't get any ideas'...I'm a professional Alley Cat...The old bag enticed me...

You were in dire need of company

Look here

I let you bring me in

Don't get any ideas'

I'm not your buttercup

I was scavenging

Personally

I smelt that can of cat food

Brandished before me

What can I say?

The old bag enticed me

Did I hear a mention of a bath

I think not

I'm a professional Alley Cat

This coat here has its own aroma

I earned this flavor Babe

Shucks...

The old bag shut the door

Guess I have no choice here

I'll rest till dawn

When the door opens

I'll make my getaway

Very typical of cats, isn't it. They come and go and they please. Cute write.

This is exactly what an alley cat would think. Great humour.

This is soooo what a cat would say, especially a stray if he were taken in and you can't help smiling at this one as you think of that. Well done Deb.

Rich in contents, rhythm and singing voice. "I'm Not Your Buttercup"
