You once ask me
The depths of beauty I feel inside
It is not that of a rose
Though the thought is kind
The fragrance captivating
Nor it is a box of chocolates
In hope of enticing my heart
In a moment
The beauty inside of my soul
Calls me to the river
In the early morning
I lay across the old oak branch
Above the raging water
The fog stands visible
The soft dew caress my flesh
I feel to be an eloquent flower
Rare in species
Alone
God watching over me
Be still my heart
This lovely moment in time
It is Heaven
Captivating my soul
