.

Master use these hands at least once

To heal a broken spirit

Use this ready smile as well

To cheer a heavy heart

Use these feet to aid and abet

One who’s mired in hopelessness

And use these eyes to lead a blind

Neighbor down a path of light.

Master use these ears as you wish

We are many who do not listen

Use this heart in order to offer

Solace when and wherever it can

Teach this tongue to utter mainly

Words that mend, words that soothe

Force this mind to seek truth and beauty,

To spread them both consistently.

I agree with George M. that we should do exactly what he reviewed. I will follow that leading too.

Dear Randy,

This poem reminds me of the Prayer of St Francis:
"Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace..."

Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph*

Master wrote the words, we should read them not only with our eyes but make the effort and do it also with our heart.

Who could argue with these aspirations? I think you've described an ideal that takes effort but is not impossible.
