There is a slow sultry burning in this poem, Robert, that generates a heat from a place of deep honor and respect for your lover. There is a wonderful erotic quality to someone being enrapt in his or her partner. This is a very sweet and caring write, placing you in the position of that prince that we all were promised.

My goodness! This slips down like a fine wine, Jude! How I love the early risers! Prelude to Patience? Sounds more like Patient Prelude to Rapture.
