~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The light passing through the tulips on your desk
Adds a certain glow to the color of your thoughts
The beaded pearls across your neck
Adds a certain flair to your imbedded expression,
Enhanced by inquisitive gestures
Examining the floral of unbridled stars
As you stare out a window
Into the depths of this evening sky,
I watch your face aglow with enchantment,
Your smile collecting stardust,
A delicate song humming to angels
Yet I still see in your stare
The verve to conquer all heavens
This is the setting where I rest my head
Admiring the luminosity of an inspired halo
Where I am but an unseen presence
Following contours of tempestuous eyes
"A truly marvelous portrait... of interiors and intentions in sublime celestial motion" - the Big A agin!! :)) You always tie your voyeurism into your sight chakra at the base of your navel, it seems to me.. or, at least, that's how it feels. The male womb, perhaps, where one feels nurtured, afloat and at an easy peace. Soooo reminiscent of Potent Sleep and Freedom's Heart - but with a heightened sense of knowledge and intimacy. I adore Rhonda's description of Porcelain Poetry - so apposite. Not only do you give insight into the nature and mood of your subject, but into your own deeply reflective pools with their mirrored surfaces. You are perhaps a case in point of still waters running deep. To be captivated and captured is a wonderful thing if, within that, there is complete liberation into freedom on the higher planes. This poem is truly beautiful in extolling virtues of purpose, vision, strength and grace as you see them. Wonderfully observed. TY Kate xx
very effective with the three sets of two lines at the end. the shift from observer to experiencer entering into the scene is excellent and really makes this soar for me. Dawn
In relation to time invisible, we feel these characters, the tulips, the pearls, and the Unseen Presence cyclical needs for hunger and thirst. Rouses strong desire from the magnetic poles, originating in the astral organs, a time not too far distant and thinking of libido. All elements are fused very well in this poem, Jude...
A truly marvelous portrait--as I experience these lines--of interiors and intentions in sublime celestial motion. A thrilling read indeed.
Jude,
You are the Sculptor of Porcelain Poetry....this is so tender, and delicate.....yet so interwoven with your personal strength and elan! It just takes one's breath...then slowly, returns it, with the reality of what one has just read!
You are an awesome Poet!
Love, Rhonda
This is a great poem filled with the intrigue of a romantic interlude from the position of the voyer. Those intense imaginings that our thoughts plot upon as we admire someone at face value. We create the character in our mind and spin life's story from a single glance. I love to play this game, it not only amuses me, but it also dances like a perfect partner within my fantasies. Exceptional writing, Jude.
Take care,
Sherry
One of the things I admire about your work Robert is that your writes never waiver in their insightfulness. I enjoy when people have eyes that "see" beyond the surface and have the wherewithall to make what they see available to bless others.
In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
