lovely dreams fill my mind
dreams of life and its wonder

to be born from the fruit
raised from a seedling

the unknown bears its juice

... so speaks the peri-natal Grandfather! :) This, to me, beautifully articulates the mystery of seeing your own life return to you one step removed - unknown, perhaps, but already loved, nurtured and in many ways pre-known. The word brings up thoughts of electricity, hot blood flow, illicit drugs, and legal tender applied to grease the skids. In some cases, it is known to bare its juice. ;-)

This is a gem of a poem: very concise, Zen-likr. Reminds me of a haiku, with the resolution ast the end.

Simple, pure thoughts this morning, Jude, very much Jude-like. Simple, yes, but this poem is very deep inside its meaning.
