This endless………………road Oh, this twisted map, I sit and stare at and still, no closer to home than ………………before Buying time on these, blue cloud skies and sunny days under, these tall trees Watching as a girl in a flatbed truck Leaning over……..showing me her pearly white breast Speaking in a ringing tongue smiling the day away Moving down the road……….she goes like all the others, before this endless road to where to heaven or hell maybe, I should detour Turn left head for hell I’ve been to the North Country Heaven seems so far Away Snassano 08-28-08

i thought left was the sacred way? apparently not.. no wonder. ... and the line 'speaking in a ringing tongue'sounds circular, like all your mindtrap writes. .. a ringing tongue. .. it speaks of constant loss, of coming back, of useless spirals. . . . and prophetic things. .
love this softer more emotional voice.

I like the way this poem actually seems to wind along just like the road of what the poet speaks. So many turns, sights sounds and feelings to experience on lifes road...without become bitter or morose as to what may lay ahead.
