It's far to easy, to nail another nail, Its almost like our modern day consumer society, use and abuse! We can only feel Jesus wound and suffering by doing some ourselves and because of that feel closer to him.

I deserved it well!

I feel no need

To lay my sins at Jesus feet

I feel he has been hurt enough indeed

Let me suffer my own pain

From hurting him refrain

He need not have another thorn

Or any of his wounds re-torn

If I have the Lord offended

And asked forgiveness on knees bended

I will gladly kiss his feet

Not to hurt his Son indeed

I’d rather carry them alone

Knowing that his light for me had shown

And thankful not to be alone

If I could I’d rather suffer that his pain,

My suffering sustain

Not to nail

Another nail

In hands so sweet

Should than I dwell in hell

I deserved it well!

Take responsibility for our mistakes and our crimes. You are so right. As a child, I cried and grieved that people would treat our Jesus the way he was treated. And then to be crucified! My tears flowed harder. I asked and asked why, and it took a long time for me to understand he suffered to take away our sins. Let us not hurt him anymore.
This is beautiful! It makes me look harder at what I have done in the past. Great write, Jasmin.

I totally agree!
The sacrifice he made, we should do the same!
WE have our own cross to bare! and we do! In one form or another!
the pain is felt Jas!
Clearly and starkly written and felt!
Amen!
I love you Jesus!

Let Your Goddess Grow! by Charlene Proctor

Intuitively, I know I've lived many lifetimes, and none more interesting than the one I'm living now. However, being born an old soul somehow did not excuse me from the same job I share with you and that is learning to craft a positive attitude about
