Whose benefit this suffering for?

Do they not count?

When buying goods in store

Do not think

What does it take to make you feel?

Buy wolverine or veal

That hat on your head

Did it not squeal?

Like your last meal?

Do you not even hear their cries?

When you awake or sleep

Do tell yourself

Some lies or

Weep?

How would you feel if it be you?

Abused mistreated and used

For someone’s tummy

Or their pride

 Wear your hide?

You think for one moment to apprise

What is happening all around?

Not fairy tales or lies

You look to heaven and the skies

But better look to ground

Soon your bones be there interred

You left behind

Blind to God and all his beings

Walked the earth so blind

Could you not have been more kind?

Suffering, misery, and pain

Were full partner

Your hide sustain

Your bones now white

Your soul did stain

Anxious at St. Peters gate

Paradise await

But now to late

Ships you back

Squeezed in a crate

Be it chicken, pork or veal

The devils prong now in your hide

Get to know just how they feel

Gone all your human pride

Become some bodies meal

And that fur you wore on your ass

Not for cold or cover

To be a better looking lass

In Paris or in Dover

You wish it were all over

You always reap that which you sow

Sooner or later
