Hunger, famine, Aids.......take you pick, it is suffering on a grand scale.

Suffering children in Africa!

Be still my child,

Mommy’s not too strong,

You have a fever mild,

And mommy’s not too long,

Soon you’ll be in heavens arm,

Where angels play with you,

Will love your sweetness, and your charm,

Mommy soon we’ll join you too

Sleep my child, please sleep,

You’re breaking mommy’s heart,

Not want to see your mommy weep,

We won’t be long apart

Your suffering tears my soul,

It tears me all apart,

I pray to make you whole,

Give us a brand new start

All our neighbours will be there,

Be in heavens land,

You’ll see them everywhere,

Safe in heavens hand

Cradle close my sweet,

I’ll rock you for a while,

We’ll both together go to sleep?

Just for a little while.

Been in Africa many times, don't know about the atrocities done by white man, but in the last fifty years I have seen plenty commited by Africans against Africans.
Don't remember of white man killing a millon Africans, but do I know what greed, power and political lunacy has done to the continent.
Perhaps it is the legacy of white man that divided the land without taking consideration the etnic divisions and like former Jugoslavjia forced into the pot a lot of incompatibles.
Then, we show them luxury and the end result is now with a dying child every second, every day, every week, all year around.
But we do put a red carpet to honor the arrival of the butchers.
Don't start me going...

Georg

Sad write ... we have starving little children here, too. Easily treated diseases here are devastating over there.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
