Winter’s Finality
The sun rises a ruby red
A sky of many hues
clouds drifting in silouhette
Warmth is in the light
of your visions
amidst the ironies
The days are warm
The nights are cold
Autumn colors abundance
steal your eyes
like a Monet’
leaving impressions
upon your mind
Spring, youth
an awakening
Summer, romance
lovers embracing
The heart beats strong
in lieu of beauty
and love comes around
in a moments fancy
Autumn, matures
life is fragile
Winter, ages
hearts are hardened
The sun sets in an austere sky
to bring bitter winds,
which chills the soul
I have loved once or twice
Is Winter a finality?
