We Stand United

We Stand United

 

We stand united

with this great man

to lead us with hope,

faith in democracy

This historic moment

shall rest forever in history

This great man stands

for our future

as destiny demands

as the people have spoken

Justice for all men

 

We Stand United

 

"We hold these truths to be

self-evident, that all men

are created equal, that they

are endowed by their Creator

with certain unalienable Rights,

that among these are Life,

Liberty and the pursuit

of Happiness"

Beautifully written, Dale. It is a new day for a newly united America. May we not falter nor shirk in the challenge which lies ahead of us. May we wrap our prayers around President Obama and keep him safe from harm as this work goes forward.

Even though I didn't vote for Barack Obama, I pray he can bring us back to where we once were: the UNITED States of America. Well done.
