Her eyes glistened with tears, as he kissed her good-bye,
He hugged her and whispered," Darlin, please don't cry!"
She handed him a lacy hanky doused with jasmine, her favorite scent,
She whispered," Keep me close to your heart", he wondered what that meant.
Absentmindedly he placed the hanky in his shirt-pocket and went on his way,
Not giving it another thought, he started the workday.
At lunch he opened his lunchbox to find a note,
His wife had supplied it," I love you", she wrote.
He remembered the hanky and took it out for a smell,
It caused a reaction and his Ole Faithful did swell.
At days end, his sexy co-worker, Bambi,
asked for a ride,
Her curvacious body, pouty red lips, caused a reaction he couldn't hide.
On the ride home she snuggled close and blew in his ear,
Bambi had cleavage to drown in and a hot little rear.
His pants started screamin," Hubba-Hubba!", so he decided to park,
For some in-and-out action, undar the cover of dark.
His hands cupped her ample breasts, he said," two scoops please!"
Sitting there with two big handfuls made him weak in the knees.
He and Bambi, jumped into the backseat, hot to trot!
While claiming new territories, his wife he forgot.
As he was about to sink the basket, his wife's hanky fell on Bambi's face,
She yelled," I smell jasmine!",while sniffing the hanky of lace.
His little solider yelled," Retreat!", then cut a trail,
Visions of his wife's rollin pin, took the wind outta his sail!
Bambi cooed," What's the matter Honey, are you sick?"
He mummbled," I forgot something, I gotta get home quick!"
He dropped Bambi off and rushed home to his wife,
He was so grateful to that hanky, it had saved his life!
Now he always carries that hanky, it keeps him faithful as a dove,
When he gets tempted, he pulls it out and smells the scent of love.

SC, this a great writing; loved "Bambi had cleavage to drown in" and "His little soldier yelled, "Retreat!"" among other gems.

Love it, but not sure if it was the scent of the hanky or the fear of the rolling pin that keeps him coming home. lol

The wife was very wise in this. She knew about his wandering heart and dealt with it in advance. Wonderful storytelling!
